Clutch engagement and holding power are the focus of the Centerforce II pressure plate CFT165552, a transmission clutch pressure plate suited for street/strip, off-road and towing applications. Fits 133 Buick, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford and 5 other makes vehicles from 1962 to 1995, including the 1969–1974 and 1995 Chevrolet Blazer and the 1994–1995 Chevrolet S10 and GMC Sonoma. Built from nodular iron, it uses centrifugal weights and patented machining processes to increase static clamp load, reaching a torque capacity of 572 ft/lb when used with a Centerforce I or II clutch disc. The pressure plate and disc are sold separately on some applications.
