This throw out bearing (release bearing), Centerforce part number N1493, provides clutch disengagement when the clutch pedal is depressed. Fits the 1965–1971 Ford Galaxie 500; the 1969–1971 Ford Mustang; the 1970–1971 Ford Torino; the 1966–1970 Ford Fairlane; and the 1965–1967 Ford Galaxie. It is a direct Original Equipment replacement. Centerforce recommends changing the pilot bearing and release bearing together during every clutch installation.
