For dual-stream exhaust systems, the Eastern Catalytic 50299 is an EPA-compliant Y-pipe direct-fit catalytic converter featuring two mounting clamps and 2-bolt spinner inlet connections at each entry point. Fits the 1995-2002 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird with the 3.8L V6. The converter employs an ECO GM catalyst composition to treat exhaust emissions and requires no inlet gaskets, simplifying the mounting and installation process considerably. A 2.25-inch outer diameter outlet consolidates the dual inlet streams into a single exit line, and two oxygen sensor ports provide continuous emissions monitoring and system feedback data.
