Bilstein 24-234498 - Suspension Shock Absorber B6 Monotube Front 2002-2021 Freightliner

A front monotube shock absorber with 14mm shaft diameter, the Bilstein 24-234498 B6 delivers suspension control for heavy-duty applications. Fits the 2002-2003 and 2005-2021 Freightliner XC Straight Rail and XC Straight Rail Base; the 2005-2021 Freightliner XC Raised Rail and XC Raised Rail Base; the 2008-2021 Freightliner XC Modular Rail and XC Modular Rail Base; the 2007-2019 Freightliner XC Lowered Rail and XC Lowered Rail Base; the 2005-2007 Freightliner XC Formed Rail and XC Formed Rail Base; and the 2002-2005 Freightliner XC and XC Base. This damper incorporates 12.9mm upper and 19.1mm lower eye mounts that provide secure chassis attachment while allowing articulation. The zinc-plated finish protects against corrosion, and the unit measures 381mm (15 inches) when fully collapsed and extends to 612.5mm (24.11 inches), creating a stroke range suited to varied road conditions. A black bellows boot is included to prevent dust contamination of the internal mechanisms.
