Front shock absorbers for light trucks and SUVs, the Bilstein 24-317818 is a ride height-adjustable B8 5100 damper engineered for coil-spring suspension systems. Fits the 2007-2014 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 and Tahoe and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL 1500, and the 2007-2013 Chevrolet Avalanche and Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500. This monotube shock features a 46mm digressive piston with a self-adjusting deflective disc valve and includes multiple snap-ring grooves in the body for variable spring seat positioning, allowing 0 to 3 inches of front lift with factory springs depending on application. The 14mm shaft diameter and zinc-plated finish provide durability and reliable corrosion resistance across diverse terrain and weather conditions. Spring seat is included; boot and reservoir are not.
