Built with double lip seals and a unique belt idler system, the COMP Cams 6200BTS is a timing belt tensioner designed as part of the 6200 belt drive system. An infinitely adjustable Vernier sprocket delivers absolute timing accuracy, while the belt idler system reduces flap throughout the rpm range and the assembly absorbs crankshaft harmonics to guard against valve train instability. A unique camshaft thrust adjustment system requires no shims, and the double lip seals support long service life and maximum crankcase vacuum.
